One of the best places on the Hollywood Beach Boardwalk! I was staying at the beach for the weekend and looked on Yelp for a place to eat. With most of these places on the beach, you expect the same types of food and not super high ratings. Why Not immediately stood out with its great reviews, so we went for breakfast. I was instantly impressed by the cleanliness, the quality of the food, and the variety of the menu. And of course with this location, the view was beautiful. I had the tres leches pancakes which were thick and fluffy, and the passion fruit mimosa, which I could tell was made with real passionfruit because there were some seeds in it. The dinner menu looked so good that we ended up bringing our family back for dinner! I got the cacio e Pepe, and fulfilled my dream of having pasta served in a cheese wheel! My family was really happy with all of their food as well. Everything was really good. If you're looking for high-quality food on Hollywood beach for any meal, this is definitely your place!

Had breakfast at Why Not Restaurant with a party of four. I had the Belgian waffles, pancakes and eggs, which were pretty good. The total came to $100 for the group without drinks, so it's a bit pricey for a casual meal. Still, it's worth trying if you're on Hollywood Beach and want to enjoy a decent meal in the area.

Super small hole in the wall plate right on the beach in Hollywood FL! We sat out front so we could watch the waves while we ate. They had like 30+ kinds of mojitos and they were so good! The sushi was delicious. I got the lobster roll and there was so much fish, even on top. The mahi burger and fries were also great. The tacos were just okay - wish everything wasn't fried. I wasn't aware of that when I ordered it, and they didn't come out hot. But otherwise we had a great meal and the service was fast and friendly! Definitely go for the sushi and the Mahi burger!

Finally a nice place to get some good quality food for the right price on the boardwalk. It's a little hard to find because it is tucked between two other restaurants but keep your eyes open for the sign. It's pretty small and doesn't have too much seating but it is a lot more modern and cleaner than some of the other places on the boardwalk. I love the name of it too. They have a huge menu! So all those picky eaters in the group have to find something to like out of all the options. Their sushi was actually really good and tasted fresh. We enjoyed the surf and turf roll and typically we aren't even big on sushi! I know the burgers looked good,we enjoyed our pastas and they even have seafood. What more could you ask for? Would recommend here if you're walking around the beach/boardwalk.

We were among the last few customers before they close for the night. A small restaurant with option for outdoor seating by the broadwalk with wonderful view of the ocean. The menu has quite good selections of seafood. We had grilled salmon, mahi-mahi fillet and jumbo prawns. Food presentation was nice, taste-wise the salmon was about average, the mahi-mahi was bit blunt.

You can get a blackened Mahi sandwich in any number of places and there's usually not much difference. You won't be saying or thinking that, after having a Mahi sandwich from WHY NOT... What a great sandwich! The staff is super nice and eager to make your food to your liking. The location provides amazing beach views and all the sights and sounds of the Hollywood Beach Broadwalk. It's my go to lunch whenever I'm on the beach.

So the food was amazing. Absolutely amazing. We chose their restaurant because it had a ramp for my grandmother's wheelchair. Their handicap ramp is blocked off by signage and tables. Luckily it was not raining so we were able to sit outside on the broadwalk. Their bathroom was broken. The staff was very nice, but forgetful. I went inside to ask for some sauce and dressing, and when I came back out the hostess asked if I wanted to sit down for lunch. So they were not exactly the most attentive, but the food was worth it, so I would still go back. They serve breakfast until 11:30 and we got there at 11:00, so we had an appetizer of fruit and avocado toast. Then we waited till 11:30 to order salads and pastas. The food was very good and fresh.

Why Not? truly delivered a delicious meal with perfect ambiance of the ocean, beach, & Broadwalk in Hollywood Beach.I couldn't have asked for a better dinner. You MUST try the pasta wheel. Omg it is the best ever - and it's very rare. The service was amazing & we will definitely be back! Great for date night, kids, girls night!
